At The Albright Library, we purchase carefully selected secondhand books to help keep beautiful stories circulating while making reading more affordable and sustainable.

One thing that’s really important to us is book condition, so we generally focus on books in excellent near-new condition with minimal wear.
How it works
Fill out the form below and upload some photos of your books so we can see what title's you have! We’ll get back to you with a list of book titles we can purchase and price!
Typically, books are purchased for around $2–$4 each depending on title, demand, and condition.
Method of delivery
All offers are subject to a quick book condition inspection upon arrival.
While local drop off to The Albright Library in Truganina VIC is preferred, we also accept interstate collections via shipping. For interstate customers, we can generate a discounted shipping label for you to attach to your parcel, making the process as simple and affordable as possible.
Once your books arrive, payment for the agreed amount (minus shipping costs) will be transferred to your nominated bank account.
Donations
We also run a local street library offering free access to books within the community.
Many customers choose to donate books that may not suit our store, helping stories continue finding new readers through local street libraries across Melbourne.
